This is an exciting new Southern Gospel music event. This outdoor singing event will be held at the Doc & Merle Watson Amphitheater. The event will begin at noon on Sept. 20 and last until about 10:00 PM A collection of some of the brightest stars in the Southern Gospel Universe including the McKameys, Gold City, the Crabb Family, The Dove Brothers and more will be there to perform. Local groups are the Wishons, Faith Trio, By Faith, One Hope, and the Tarheel State Quartet, Chuck Wagon Gang.

Just one hour per week can make the difference in the life of a child. You can help raise the Reading level of a child in this mentoring program that targets-at-risk students. Please call one of these elementary schools to volunteer: Viewmont - 324-7049, Southwest - 324-8884, or Longview - 327-2009. See letter on bulletin board in Sunday school hallway.
